My domino run

Today I made a domino run, and it was fun. It kept falling down at first but then we practiced and it all worked well. We used cars and they ran down the toilet roll tubes and they banged down all the dominoes.

Mice and roses

My mice are very funny, and they're lovely and cute. They are always doing funny things, like climbing up bottles and going through toilet rolls, and climbing over the computer keyboard. One day when mummy was working, both of my mice crawled under the keyboard and scared her. The keyboard was very dirty and mummy didn't clean it.

I took these photos of the roses. The roses are very nice, and one was open, and the other one was nearly open. I took photos of drops of water on the leaves. The rose has pink and white stripes, and the petals are nearly all pink.

I hope a lot of people will read my blog now.

Ten-pin bowling

On Thursday I took the day off school and daddy and mummy took the day off work, and we all went ten-pin bowling. And I bowled 20 balls, and mummy watched me, and on one of the balls I threw I hit over every pin except one. Then it was daddy's turn. I like bowling and I liked wearing the shoes - they are cool and groovy.

Afterwards I played some arcade games and I hit some turtles and some mice and I won lots of tickets, and swapped them for a ball and a tattoo and stickers.

Peter Rabbit and Rowan

Hello,
Today I won a prize. It is a Peter Rabbit toy and I won it for a colouring-in competition. They took some photos of me with my prize, and photos of my mummy and daddy. My mummy said the prize was a surprise and I was very surprised and excited. I like my Peter Rabbit very much. He is big, and he has a big white tail. His bottom is under his tail but mummy thought his tail was his bottom. He wears a blue jacket with gold buttons. I coloured the buttons in yellow.

When mummy took this photo of me and Peter Rabbit, I hid one eye behind Peter. He is big and fluffy and I like cuddling him. Here he is:

Mice and dogs and Mario

I have been at school every day and have been very busy with friends. Here are some pictures that I took of my mice and my dog.

These are my mice. Monkey is on the left and Squeaky is on the right. They are happy mice and eat a lot of food. I feed them every day with mouse food, also cornflakes and weetbix, and a lot of fruit and vegetables. They have a run outside the cage every day and hide under newspapers. They like me a lot and sit on my hands and sometimes bite me. Mummy thinks they're smelly but I love my cute little mice.

This is my dog Louie. She is 10 years old and is a very naughty dog. She raids the rubbish bin in the kitchen and yesterday ate an entire cake that Mummy and I were taking to a friend's house. After that Daddy put her outside for the rest of the day.

On the weekend I saw Anna and mummy took a photo of me standing next to Mario. I love playing Mario Galaxy especially the one with all the lollies in it.

Helicopters and Scienceworks

I like the pictures of the helicopters my Grandad sent me. They are firefighting helicopters and they squirt water at fires. Here they are:

At Easter, I painted some eggs. They are very colourful and have paintings on them:

I made an Earth at Scienceworks and I put it together with my daddy. Then we glued it on to the numbers and we matched the numbers to the inside of the Earth. Inside the Earth is lava and the Earth has a crust, an outer core and an inner core. It is very hot inside - at least 7000 degrees.

I also made a telescope at Scienceworks. Inside the telescope I can see the Earth, the Grand Canyon, Uluru and the Great Barrier Reef.

Math wall, the line of building, and a uno card road.

When you add numbers together you can make a wall. My favourite numbers are 8, 1 and 5.

The line of building is when you put lines of stuff on the floor and you put the machines on top. Like here:

When I put Uno cards on the ground and build a building nearby, I make a road.

The train and car parking lot

I popped a lot of trains and cars on the rug. It was hard work, and took me a long time. I made long lines of trains and cars. There were so many trains and cars on the rug that I couldn't count them. I think I have 200 trains and that's a lot.

Monkey, Squeaky and Rowan!

We clean Monkey and Squeaky's cage every day. We take the top of the cage off and hold the mice very gently. We watch them play and sniff us and that's how they get used to our smell. We never hurt them because it would be easy to crush them. They eat mice food and veges. They are very precious mice and they like their new home - they think it's lovely.

I'm back at school. I did my writing book today and I like it. And I do other jobs like the 100-board. When I did the 100-board it was so tricky for me. I tried and tried. I'm learning to read. I learn the sounds of letters. I know how to spell dog and pig. I think reading is fun.

I like building every Marble Racer. Sometimes when I do it by myself it is a bit tricky. When I do the 199-piece Marble Racer I get help. When I do the 15-piece Marble Racer it becomes much easier and I can do it and I like it. I can do it by myself.

Mice, magnetix and a marble racer

Today I got some mice. I love them so much. Their names are Monkey and Squeaky and they are both black and white. We got two girl mice because two boy mice will fight, and a girl and a boy will end up with 50 babies. They run around their cage, up and down the ramp, and eat a lot. I change the water, give them food and clean up their poo. I hold them so they will be my friend, and I am very gentle with them. You never hold a mouse by the tip of its tail because it will hurt its back. This is Monkey - she has long fur:

During my school holidays I have been building things with magnetix. This is my pentagon - it has five sides:

For Christmas I got a marble racer. It has 20 marbles and I can build a lot with it. I played with my friends Aiden and Saskia with my marble racer today. We had fun. I can build with 199 pieces of my marble racer.

More school holidays...

Hello. I have been catching up with my friends and going to Scienceworks, the park, and to a swimming pool. At Scienceworks I saw coal equipment. I have been jumping on a trampoline with a friend. Here is a picture of a Dragon fly from my Grandad.

I'm at home and I liked Nan and Pop's place. I've been playing with my marble racer, turntable and monster truck that I got for Christmas.

At the moment I'm sitting on a chair next to Mummy and I love her so much. I love mummy and daddy.

We're having a yard sale - we're selling all my old toys, all from the spare room.

I'm going to see the windmills at the museum, and I like the windmills because they turn, and I love the turbine.

Rowan's Christmas Holidays

Here is my Christmas tree with lots of lights and baubles:

At Christmas I got lots of presents and I love Murdoch the train. He's a tender engine and I really like him.

I went to visit Nan and Pop and I like them a lot and I had Christmas there. On the drive up to visit Nan and Pop there was a full moon and a lot of clouds, and I took photos of them. Here they are:

I went to a lot of places on my holidays, and I went to the miniature railway. There were many trains there and I saw big ones that went round back into the shop. Here are my pictures of the trains:

Nan and Pop's farm was really great and there were worms there, and I saw some rubbish there, and Nan had to take it to the tip. I liked the farm, it was really interesting, and I saw a lot of animals such as horses, chickens, a cat and worms. But I will put a photo of worms on my blog.

School holidays

I like my school holidays and I have lots of presents under the Christmas tree. We're going to Pop's for Xmas and we're going to have presents to open.

My busy week

This week I did lots of things. I went on a school excursion to Chesterfield Farm with all of my friends. I went on a tractor and milked a cow:

The milk squirted at everybody. It felt funny. I fed an emu and some deer. The emu pecked hard into the cup and some of the food landed on my arm, but I threw it off.

The deer were very nice and I like them a lot, and one of them was very hungry. Here are some chickens. They are very nice. I held a little chick and it felt fluffy and cute.

I also went to my last music class on Saturday and we had a concert. It was fun. I played drums and claves, and ran around a lot.

Today I went to the Dandenongs to see some friends and have a BBQ. I ate some hot dogs and watched Thomas. Here are some sunflowers that I bought from the flower shop:

Sunflowers are my favourite flowers - they are colourful and yellow and they have yellow pollen. I like all of them.

Next week I am going to a birthday party and to a Christmas party. Then it is Christmas and I am getting Buzz Lightyear for a present.

Hearts

These are some hearts for mummy that I drew at school. The colours are very nice, aren't they? They are hearts on the ground and the pink stuff is the sky. I was sitting with my teacher and she was washing some jobs that we worked on.

My piano

This is my new piano. It came across the Nullabor plain from my great-aunt Margaret. I like playing piano and I make up songs about monkeys. Today is my granddad's birthday - I think he is older than four. Maybe he is 80 or 100. People can't live until they are 1000 but I will live until I'm 100. So will my monkey.

Louie in the Sandpit

Louie is in the sandpit. And it's very funny. Louie is a naughty dog because she always eats my food. I like throwing balls for Louie and she is my best friend. Louie always gives kisses to Sooty the cat and likes going for walks. When we came home from the pub one day, I saw Louie had come into our driveway because she had gone for a walk on her own. I love Sooty and will have a photo of her another day.

P.S. I won $1.80 on my horse, Purple Moon.
